It is our philosophy that reading is a fundamental skill and one that is often considered the path to academia.  Difficulty with this skill can affect so many areas of one's life and be a source of great distress. 

Students who struggle with reading often find it difficult to achieve their potential in many areas of education.  Reading directions, reading subject area text such as science, social studies and literature, reading mathematical word problems and performing spelling and written language tasks are often challenging to a level of frustration.

LTR Tutoring Associates understand this frustration.  We are experienced, trained, and certified instructors in a number of research based multisensory literacy programs, including the Wilson Language Reading System, and Project Read strands.  These programs fulfill the recommendations published by the National Reading Panel and the National Institute of Child Health and Human Development's (NICHD) research and findings. 

Targeted educational evaluations provide information regarding specific student skill deficits and strengths and this allows for the most appropriate strategic instructional intervention.  LTR Tutoring Associates include master level educational diagnosticians equipped to administer such evaluations.
