Cheri McManus, M.Ed.

is a Learning Disabilities Specialist who has educated children with learning, physical and emotional disabilities in both the public and private sector for more than 15 years. Ten years ago, Cheri pursued certification in the Wilson Language Reading System. Upon completion, she worked at St. Joseph Hospital in Nashua, NH for the Office of Neuropsychology, Learning and Behavioral Medicine. There, she worked to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of clients with dyslexia. Returning to a public school setting, Cheri created a program designed to provide direct instruction to dyslexic middle school students.
Cheri currently continues to provide direct instruction to middle school students struggling with literacy, and has been an adjunct professor at both Rivier College in Nashua, NH and Fitchburg State College, in Fitchburg MA. Cheri served as the college supervisor and instructor for the Graduate Reading Masters Program at Rivier College, and teaches courses using the Wilson Language System at both Rivier and Fitchburg State Colleges.
Cheri retains membership in the International Dyslexia Association, serving as a Board Member for the NH Branch, as well as serving on the Board of Governors, for the 32 Masonic Learning Center in Nashua, NH.
Dianne Melim, MA
Co-Founder & Co-Director
has worked in the field of education since 1980. She has a B.S. in Elementary Education and a M.A. in Counseling Psychology. She is N.H. state certified as an Experienced Educator and General Special Educator. She is also licensed as a Clinical Mental Health Counselor. Dianne is a certified Level 1 Wilson instructor and has completed the training in Level 2 certification along with a practicum in Advanced Strategies.
Dianne has taught reading to students of all ages including primary, elementary, middle school, high school and adults. She has worked in public and private settings. She currently serves as an itinerant multisensory reading instructor for a public school district.
In addition to her experience as an educator, Dianne has many years of experience as a psychometrist. evaluator, and therapist in both the public and private sector.
Dianne is a member of the International Dyslexia Association. She also serves on the Board of Governors for the Masonic Learning Center for Children in Nashua, N.H.
Born out of a passion to assist those who struggle with literacy, LTR Tutoring Associates was founded in 2004. Today, in addition to providing instruction to struggling readers we have broadened our mission to include literacy and dyslexia awareness through community service.
LTR Tutoring Associates have collected and distributed thousands of books to the children of the Greater Concord Area at Concord's annual Halloween Event. LTR has also conducted an annual Professional Development Fundraiser for the past three years, with the purpose of providing free individualized reading instruction to children in southern N.H.
