Mindy Carlisle, M.Ed.

Mindy is an L.D. Specialist and is employed at New Hampshire Technical Institute as a Disabilities Services Specialist.  She completed her B.S. degree in Elementary Education and in Special Education in 1976.  She earned her M.Ed. in School Guidance and in Counseling and Psychotherapy in 1993.  In 2001 she received her certification as a Learning Disabilities Specialist.  At present, Mindy holds N.H. certifications in Elementary Education, General Special Education, Mental Retardation, Learning Disabilities, and School Guidance.  Mindy earned her Level 1 certification in the Wilson Language Reading System in 1999.  She has also completed training in Level 2 Group Instruction.

Mindy has worked in the field of special education since 1978.  She has worked in both public and private settings and has held a number of positions, including case manager, resource room teacher, inclusion facilitator, and teacher for multihandicapped students.  Mindy worked with students in elementary and middle school settings until 2005.  Since then she has continued to utilize her years of teaching experience as a tutor in the area of reading. 

Deborah Snow-Major, MS, CCC-SLP

Deborah joined LTR Tutoring Associates, LLC in July 2007.  She has over 22 years experience.  Deborah has provided services for both children and adults in a variety of settings; public schools, rehabilitation facilities, early intervention, and private practice.  Over the years, she has been a speech pathologist as well as an assistant principal and a child find facilitator.

Deborah has experience providing direct speech therapy, evaluations, and consultation.  Her areas of expertice include working with clients diagnosed with autism, language-learning disabilities, dyspraxia, articulation disorders, and severe developmental delays.

Deborah received her B.S. from UNH in 1984.  Upon nomination and acceptance as a graduate assistantship, she continued her education at UNH, receiving an M.S. in Communication Disorders in December 1986.  She further completed stringent reguirements to obtain the Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech and Hearing Association.

Deborah is currently licensed by the NH Board of Allied Health for the State of New Hampshire and is certified by the American Speech and Hearing Association.  She received the ACE (Award for Continuing Education) from ASHA in 2006.  Deborah is currently an advisor for the New Hampshire Speech Language Hearing Association and previously held the Vice President of Prefessional Development position.
